I came across this photo from a the summer of 2011 and it fit for last weeks weekly photo challenge. I always seem to find a photo at the last minute for those challenges. I loved this moment between my husband and son.

Fall Mums.

It is 89 degrees here in Cypress, Texas today. I’m hoping this fall mum post brings with it a cold front as predicted this evening. Of course, it’d be even better if it decides to cool off for the rest of the year. I could use a break from this 90 degree heat!! Bring on FALL!!

Snapshot Sunday – 1st TBall Game – There Is some Crying in TBall

Our little guy had his first T-ball game this week. There is no score keeping, no outs, no umpires and no strikes. Just some 3-4 year olds learning the fundamentals of baseball and hopefully having some fun with their friends and parents. What there was – timid first time TBall hitters, little boys in oversized uniforms, runners missing the bases, dropped balls, smiles, laughs in the outfield and in the stands and a few tears. Overall it went well and the best part is our little guy says he wants to go back because he’s playing on the BIG baseball fields!
